Jurassic World Parade Floats

It’s not every day that we got to fabricate and/or design floats that will be flown oversees and used at Universal Studios Japan. We worked on other floats for the Orlando Entertainment parks, but this was new for us. The majority of our work was to build the main frames and paint them before they would be shipped to a theming shop.

Rails, Platforms, Ladders, Walls, Floors, Doors, HVAC Supports. We did a lot of different projects for this new ride! About 40 when I count the job log. That’s a serious amount of work and projects for us! In many cases our work is behind some wall, on top of a roof or at otherwise hidden from the public’s eye. However the mile long queue railings and drop element egress platforms are very much visible. Another cool fact is that we fabricated the main castle window that the roller coaster is going through!
